Earth.

The world doesn't wait for us, it just keeps developing & changing so one day, long back somewhere in history, we decided enough. We want to develop & change FASTER than the world. Since then we have been changing, developing… but we don’t know HOW MUCH it has cost us. We have ruined our planet trying to change it. We have KILLED our wildlife & all of nature around us. We have developed too much but we don’t see it. We are blinded by the light of something that we all keep chasing after. MONEY. That’s enough for the intro, that got intense I know but it’s the truth & it NEEDS to come out. I’m not going to give away all the information in 1 blog but make it into a series (not exactly but similar), so there will be a part 2 & maybe even part 3 of this. Hi, my name is Giaa — Marie Raj & I’m going to talk to you about Our planet. Earth.

If someone is against this, keep reading on. I’m just talking about the truth because this is what I believe in & I think that these thoughts have meaning & the world has meaning. I wrote this for a project I’m doing but I feel like I have an emotional attachment to this blog too. I feel like this blog might matter, even if it matters to only 1 person who isn’t me… I will be grateful. Now I’m just going to start off with the blog.

This. This is what we’re doing to planet earth. maybe not literally but I mean we have absolutely DESTROYED it. I’m not just going to talk about planting more trees, not ever using plastic, eating only veg & I’m certainly NOT going to ask you to live in the forest or jungle. Because I do understand that some of these things are just not possible, some are but some things just sound unrealistic. I am here to talk about the problems that are going to destroy us in the near future. Let me start with some basics but I promise you it does get better. This might just look like an opinion but there are many factors of this blog that talk about our reality & the truth of our current affairs.

One time use plastic (India)

One time use Plastic. Everyone knows what it is but nobody does anything to stop it. I know that we can’t completely cut plastic out of our lives. I mean it’s in EVERYTHING! The Shampoo bottle, the kitchen products, room decor, clothes, accessories, Devices. EVERYTHING. It’s not possible to remove it from our lives. We are surrounded but it, but there is an alternate solution that we all know about. Going for more eco-friendly products & materials for your home. As we all know, Plastic takes less time to make but hundreds of years to disintegrate. The ways of helping to solve all of these problems are what I will tell you all in my next blog, but I just want to focus on the fact that plastic is a big reason the earth is just being more & more polluted, people go for plastic because it is durable & strong it also holds close to ZERO moisture in it so things or food in plastic will not go bad for a very long time but, with the way that things are going currently, we might be dead very soon & to quote a Conan Grey song “At this rate of earth decay Our world’s ending at noon Could we all just move to the moon?”.

Two-Faced/The Dark Side

The Fashion Industry. If we could stop this industry by itself from using SOOOO many of the Harmful Materials that we all think are cool, trending, or high-class fashion, we would save the world or at least made the biggest move in history regarding Our World & preserving Nature. The Fashion Industry in the name of “looking good” & “beauty” is killing our planet. 1 orange Polyester dress could use up the about of water people could use up for up to 100 years! They kill our animals & we think it’s fine but 1 day when they start killing domesticated animals for their fur like some companies already do, we will realize our mistake. We will understand that all our exotic animals are gone, the beauty of earth & its purpose with it. The amount of harm that industrial waste does to our planet is horrifying & the Industry that contributes to it the most is The Fashion Industry. My dream is to become a big businesswoman known all over the world for the wonderful work & remarkable talent. Known for the understanding of fashion, but recently, I started to dought my idea because of the lies we get from the fashion industry, the harmful materials, the amount of industrial waste being dumped onto the planet. I was afraid I would turn into 1 of the people who would lie to us, a monster, who doesn’t understand the necessities of this planet. I decided to never use any material that was harmful to animals or the planet, mostly use cotton & wool without harming sheep. If in a way you can implement this in your life too, which I will share in my coming blogs, it would be like everyone is at least trying to make an effort to help our planet & change our ways.

Most of it is plastic.

Eating Habits. At times, even when we know that our eating habits are wrong or unhealthy, we continue down that path until there is a sign of no return. I myself, have not been able to completely implement this, because nowadays EVERYTHING comes in plastic packaging. TRILLIONS & TRILLIONS OF DIFFERENT FLAVORED CHIP PACKETS, MOST candy, All the different juices, the cold drinks, the HEALTHY smoothies & even milk… most of the things that we buy, are covered in plastic, it’s almost impossible to find a place where there is nothing but greenery & all the people there are keeping it that way & fighting for it. There is no littering, no plastic, no internet, no devices, no cars, no bikes, no big buildings, no noise pollution… & all that’s there, is a few people, who live in that heavenly place, & nature… at it’s best. I had once spent 2 or 3 days in a camp in a place in India called Kodaikanal with my friends & a few chaperones, if you search it up, you will be mesmerized by that beautiful nature-loving place. We lived almost in the middle of nowhere, in the forest, where there was absolutely no internet. Even though everyone thought it would be hard for us… when we’re in the middle of nature, nothing matters. There’s just you & nature, nothing else, nobody else, just beauty & life. The cold & fresh air there was so different from how it is in the city. The early mornings were especially beautiful, plus the friends there only made it better. Now, even though at first this story may seem pointless, it actually explains how a place with no plastic, no tin cans, just freshly made, good food looks like. If we could follow a few rules to live by or get everyone, to follow just a few rules, we could make this planet this beautiful place or at least something greener tomorrow! The solutions will come later but this is just a piece of advice to get started off because it is covid, there is quarantine & if you know how to cook that's really good, then you should cook your own food & try to make most of everything you eat home food & for the people who don’t know how to cook, try to learn, that can be a good way of understanding yourself & figuring out things in life & understanding what type of things you like!

I will give you all the answers to these problems, the ones that I find are pretty effitient for making a difference in this world, but the medicine can only come after a full diagnosis is done so, hang in there & just think about all the wonderful things in life & on this planet that make you smile & be proud to live in a world with life & remember that you can make a difference! This is it, for 1 blog, there will be more of course, more reasons, more faults, more things we need to change, but no matter that, I want you, the person reading this to follow 1 thing, just remember it every day, every time you are buying something when you are doing something that in your mind might harm the planet or the people around you,

“We are here to heal, not harm. We are here to love, not hate. We are here to Create, not Destroy.” — Anthony D. Williams
